TRUMPF LASER AUTOMATION

TRUMPF Laser Automation

With add-on Automation components it's not only possible to achieve "Lights out" material processing; it's possible to achieve a world-class manufacturing system.

The Flexible Manufacturing Center (FMC) is a modular sheet metal processing cell. The heart of the unit is the Laser Machine . Connected to it are automation components for loading and unloading, sorting, tool changing and storage. The Laser Machine can be expanded to create a flexible sheet processing system. The configuration stages of the FMC can be adapted to your exact needs. With Trumpf you can also incorporate many of our punching machines and press brakes for a complete system.

Why should you AUTOMATE your fabricating machinery?

Laser automation helps to reduce non productive time. A second or third shift that is geared for unmanned operation can be very beneficial for your bottom line. But let's look at some of the less obvious, yet just as important reasons why you should automate your fabricating machinery.

Labor optimization

  •   Improved worker safety as a result of significantly reduced material handling.
  •   Reduced workload allows operator to perform additional tasks.

Increased Productivity

  •   Productivity during breaks and shift changes
  •   Ability to run weekends and nights "lights out"

Personnel

  •   Reduction of labor intensive tasks (loading/unloading of material)
  •   Improved worker safety as a result of significantly reduced material handling
  •   Reduced workload allows operator to perform additional tasks.

Process Reliability

  •   Raw material loading, programming, tool changes and finished part removal
Trumpf LoadMaster

LoadMaster

The LoadMaster, first configuration level of automation, loads the machines pallet changer with raw sheets. To do this, it transports the sheets from the loading station to the pallet changer with suction cups. Processed sheets continue to be removed manually.

  • LoadMaster eliminates the physical labor of loading material.
  • Indoor crane is available for other tasks.
  • Suction cups can be selected with the slide valve.
  • With the peeling option you can reliably separate raw sheets up to a thickness of 6 mm.
  • When the LoadMaster is connected to loading or storage carts, large orders can be processed.
  • The LoadMaster only requires a small set-up space and does not interfere with access to the pallet changer and loading station.

LiftMaster Compact

LiftMaster Compact

LiftMaster Compact is the compact automation solution that offers the user a broad range, from simple loading and unloading to a very high degree of automation. Raw sheets are separated with suction frames and brought to the pallet changer. A separate rake frame removes the cut sheets and puts them on top of the suction frame.

  • Small space requirements
  • Very short cycle time because of parallel processes and compact construction.
  • Direct connection to storage system possible

LiftMaster

LiftMaster

With different set-up options, the LiftMaster features high flexibility and a wide range of automation functions. These range from simple loading and unloading to pallet handling to part removal. The basic building block of the LiftMaster is the suction frame. It is comprised of suction cups that transport the raw sheets as well as rakes to transport processed sheets.

  • The LiftMaster enables automatic, unmanned production.
  • Connection to the cart and storage system is possible.
  • The user has access to all positions due to the adjustable arm.
  • The LiftMaster can be ideally adapter to any space configuration.

LiftMaster Sort

LiftMaster Sort

We enhanced the LiftMaster with the sort function. This function lifts the finished parts from the scrap skeleton with suction cups.

The scrap skeleton and the finished parts can then be removed separately.

  • There is no need to separate finished parts and scrap skeletons by hand.
  • The LiftMaster Sort ensures an automatic, unmanned cycle.
  • Connection to the cart and storage system is possible.
  • The operator has access to all positions thanks to the adjustable arm.

TruStore Series 3000

TruStore 1030

TruStore Series 1030 and 3130

The versatile and extensible compact store. The TruStore Series is a standalone storage system you can connect directly to the LiftMaster Store or to other automation components using a storage cart.

A pallet handling unit transports the storage pallets within the store.

  • Quick to install
  • Modular system allows storage to be adapted to any needs
  • Minimum space requirements
  • Automation and storage from one source

Trumpf Stopa Compact

Trumpf Stopa Universal

Large Storage Systems from TRUMPF

Large storage systems from TRUMPF. A large material storage system by STOPA is more than just a material store. It is controlled by our intelligent software (TC-CELL) and together, both components ensure an ideal, automatic material flow in production.

The system allows for bringing together different technologies to work as on in a automated system. For example we can bring together lasers, punching machines, press brakes, and your current technologies into one system. The TRUMPF components of the automated storages system will work seamlessly with your production plan, where as non TRUMPF equipment will be presented the correct pallet of material for manual loading.

With our large storage systems and software solutions, we can offer you the perfect logistics center for your production. The logistics center supplies all connected machines with material, produced semi-finished/finished parts are returned to stock, and downstream fabrication steps (like bending) can be supplied with material/semi-finished stock at the right time – the perfect material flow.
And there's more: the logistics center guarantees gentle handling (no quality losses) and gives you an overview – no searching time, detection of low stock levels, direct material access, and more.

These systems are highly customized for each manufacturing environment. Call today to learn more.

Icon Machine Tool is proud to distribute TRUMPF's complete line of metal fabrication equipment throughout Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
